Quality seal according to DIN EN 17735
European standard DIN EN 17735 is aimed at both manufacturers and users of dishwashers used in commercial settings to clean crockery that comes into contact with food, e.g. in cafes, restaurants, canteens, hospitals, fast food outlets and bars. The standard sets out the hygiene requirements that apply to both the design and construction and the operation of commercial dishwashers. In particular, it contains instructions for users on hygienic and correct operation, cleaning and disinfection of load items and care and maintenance of machines. All Miele Professional dishwashers carry the “Tested hygiene quality” seal confirming that they meet the hygiene requirements for type testing based on DIN EN 17735.
