We are looking for a Head of Marketing to join our Marketing team where he/she will be reporting to our Managing Director.
Main Responsibilities
Miele is looking for an experienced and proactive professional with excellent communication skills who can represent a premium brand and is keen on building a successful career in a leading multinational firm.
The main responsibility of the Head of Marketing will be to set marketing strategies, efficiently implement an effective communication plan within set budgets, and continuously increase brand awareness.
The main responsibilities of the Head of Marketing are as follows:
Develop and maintain marketing strategies to meet agreed company objectives.
Develop an annual marketing plan in conjunction with the sales department and perform amendments as needed.
Set the yearly marketing budget and deliver all marketing activities within the agreed budget.
Maintain a full detailed activation plan for the showroom through events to increase footfall.
Work closely with a digital agency for the online strategy.
Work closely with a PR agency for press support for strategic events.
Responsible for the e-commerce platform and website back-end.
Responsible for all online and offline communication: brochures, leaflets, POP material, etc.
Participate in corporate events and attend central company meetings when required.
Define the product range and supervise product ordering from HQ.
Set prices in coordination with the Sales and Finance Managers and Managing Director
Fully understand the product range and all product management activities in order to support Product Manager/Trainer in setting the product training calendar and all product management activities.
Implement central/regional promotions and campaigns (incl. trade Marketing) and create local ones.
Evaluate customer research, market conditions, and competitor data and taking actions as required.
Responsible for POS stands in coordination with sales team, designer, and stand builder.
Required Skills & Experience
Required:
Bachelor degree in business, marketing, or marketing communications.
Minimum 8 years of experience in marketing / marketing communications / event management / online marketing / product management preferably with high-end brands.
Fluent in English (written, read, spoken) Arabic and German are a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and ERP.
Interpersonal Skills:
Presentable, charismatic, and confident.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
Proactive and goal driven.
Preferred:
Experience in the home appliances / kitchen / furniture markets.
